The ribbed fabric has just enough stretch to move with me without digging in, and the waistband genuinely doesn't leave a mark. I've worn them through a full day of chasing my toddler around and forgot I had them on.

I was skeptical about the "elastic-free" waistband but it genuinely doesn't dig in anywhere. The ribbed fabric moves with me instead of riding up, and the leg edges are so smooth they vanish under leggings.
